No. Voxtera AI's Copilot overlay is specifically designed to stay private — it only appears on your own screen and is not captured by the screen-sharing APIs used by Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, and other video conferencing platforms.
The desktop app uses a system-level window flag that excludes the overlay from screen capture. This means:
The overlay appears on YOUR screen
It does NOT appear on what the interviewer sees
It is NOT picked up by standard proctoring software used in video interviews
Limitations: If you are using the browser version without the desktop app, or if your interview uses specialized proctoring software (like HireVue's built-in AI monitor), Voxtera AI cannot guarantee the overlay stays private. Use the desktop app for maximum privacy.
