For behavioral questions ("Tell me about a time when..."), Voxtera AI evaluates your answer against the STAR framework:
S — Situation: Did you set the scene clearly? (Who, what, when, where)
T — Task: Did you explain your specific responsibility?
A — Action: Did you focus on what *you* did (not "we")?
R — Result: Did you quantify the outcome?
Common mistakes the AI flags:
Starting with Action and skipping Situation (AI will suggest adding context)
Using "we" throughout — interviewers want to know YOUR role
No quantified result — "things improved" vs "reduced churn by 23%"
Answer too short (under 60 seconds) or too long (over 3 minutes)
Tips:
Prepare 8–10 STAR stories covering: leadership, conflict, failure, success, collaboration, pressure, creativity, and initiative
Use the same stories across multiple questions by adapting the emphasis
